Fort Gorges, Casco Bay, ME
So
Mr. Marchesi and I arose at the crack of dawn to paddle my 12 ft canoe out into the dark waters of the Casco Bay last weekend and snagged some shots of the old fort. Its a beautiful location, only accessible via water and encompasses the entire island with its walls. The tide was low and the sun rose in the horizon around 6:30 in the AM, needless to say, it was beautiful. I shot a couple sheets but this location is in desperate need of a revisit which will hopefully be in the not too distant and bitter cold future. In other news, while tracking some Rainbow's on the White River in Vermont, my lil digital camera decided to settle itself in a lovely puddle, in the aftermath, its fucked.
